Expert Feature: Dissecting the T-SPLOST Failure

On July 31, 2012, Georgia residents voted to reject T-SPLOST, a sales tax proposal that would have purportedly generated $18 Billion dollars in transportation funds. A huge benefactor of those added funds would have been the Atlanta BeltLine Project. So, what does this mean for the future of the project? We asked our in-house BeltLine specialist, Derrick Duckworth, for his thoughts on the matter.
"In regard to the failed T-SPLOST measure and its effects on the BeltLine, it most definitely can't be good.
